G.R. Websites is a web services business located in the Dee Why area of Sydney, on the northern beaches, catering to those looking for an alternative to expensive web-design houses.

If your current website needs work done to it, like making it mobile-friendly, or if you are concerned about your search engine rankings, these are things I may be able to help you with.

Simply Contact Us and I’ll have a look at your site, free of charge, in order to identify any problems I see in regards to your enquiry. There is no obligation on your part to go ahead with any work.

At G.R. Websites, I prefer to avoid sales hype and false promises, but rather tell it how it is so you understand what is going on, enabling you to make an informed decision.

Who Am I?

My name is Greg Rickard. I don’t do websites full time, but if a project comes up where I can help someone out, I usually get involved if I don’t have too much going on at the time.

I am self-taught, picking things up over the years by working on my own websites and by doing word of mouth referral work. I’ve learnt to set up websites from scratch, create mobile websites, responsive websites, do on-page SEO to a certain level and more.

My real target market is someone that needs a fairly basic website for a business idea, that has a budget of at least $500 and is willing to learn to edit content on their website themselves.

Websites I build come with a complete Content Management System that has a learning curve, but can be learnt by anyone with a desire to, that has basic computer skills. By learning to work on your content yourself you will save a lot of money, which is the idea of having a CMS in the first place.

If you want a professionally designed website that costs thousands of dollars, by all means go ahead. A website is not going to bring you riches on it’s own though, regardless of how much it costs. There needs to be an underlying business that is commercially viable.

A great website with a terrible product won’t make you money, but a terrible website with a great product may. I’m not saying my sites are terrible, just illustrating a point. Your website is only a tool for your business, it is not the business itself.
